- In addition to loving a good movie, I am passionate about many things...most of all Lanie, my soulmate and life partner. I enjoy good music of all different kinds, graphic arts, painting and writing ( I especially have a pronounced weakness for historical fiction). I think one of the reasons I have always been fascinated with movies is that they bring all the various disciplines of the arts together - music, writing, art, costuming, sets, etc. etc. And when it all comes together just right, the effect in almost overwhelming. It moves us to tears, to anger, to joy because it magically touches our hearts and souls.
This is a very imaginative, and very touching love story. It underscores what all us romantics believe...that true love overcomes all. Ladies....I suggest that before you start watching this movie, that you equip yourselves with a glass(or two) of white wine, and huge box of Kleenex.
